Midi is great for getting song ideas down, but not impressive for 2009+
Good Job.

MIDI stopped being impressive back in 1996 if memory serves...

Nah it is still impressive now. It's just that with so many things to choose from a boy can get lost if he does not have a shopping list.

Thanks

Agree, and agreed! Great tool for getting ideas. However, I do think the SFX does add another to music, and should be explored more. Thiers room enough for both.
Thanks for your compliment!

I believe ya'll are confusing MIDI with sequencing. MIDI just allows you to control many different machines whereas sequencing is digitally recording the notes of an instrument and having it play it back for you. MIDI is getting more awesome all the time as you can now use it to control a recording deck, guitar effects pedals and so much more. A digital drum set can MIDI into a MIDI light controller and the drums can actually run your light show. So many things can be done with MIDI now, I wished I had learned more about it years ago. Most people associate MIDI with just keyboards and get the wrong idea about it.

NO RATS RIGHT. I just picked up a new MIDI mind controller by OPG. It is awsome. I don't even have to pick up my guitar any more. I just turn on my amp ,place the nodule duplexer behind my right ear and bingo, whatever I think comes out of my amp. EVEN BETTER , I NEVER MAKE MISTAKES,STRINGS DON'T WEAR, AND I DON'T NEED TO FIND MY PICK ANYMORE.

STICK around and I'll try to find the website.

Yeah, Giongi, I need that. NOW!!! DAMMIT!!!:)

When people come up to me and ask how I learned to play like that, I always say, "You remember the Roy Clark Big Note Guitar Book that came with those little colored stickers that you put on the fretboard so you know where you are?" YES "Well, I found a better way to use them...I just stick them on the ends of my fingers, then I'm ALWAYS in the right spot." :D :P

That's just how I learned to dance so well, ratsass. I glued the "magic footprints" to me feets!

Then I peeled all the letters off of my keyboard & stuck 'em on my fingertips to teach myself these fantastic typeration skills...
