Well guys, here's my newest member to my family..For the past few weeks I have been jamming with a couple of muscians who play, Heavy Metal music. I would never have thought that I would enjoy it as much as I do. So, I decided I needed more amplification. I got this amp on Friday so I used it that nite for practice. I'll tell you, this bitch has got some power. Its only 100 watts, with 4/12s. You can feel the power blow by you when your playing. The only problem I found with this amp is: It does'nt have a Stand By Switch and also doesn't have a Ground Switch. Other than that, It sounds great.....

Only 100 watts?
My 50 watt Carvin is so freakin loud the Band has yet to allow me to turn it up past 3.
Glad you have expanded your horizons to include one of my favorite genre' Bobby.
Though what I call / consider metal usually does not fall into the same sub-genre' as what these kids call metal today.

yah sans us kids kinda took 80's metal and doubled the speed, but I differenciate based on era so I don't have to deal with confusing sitiations that I'd rather not be in, while I may not play the detuned cookie monster music that a lot of kids play, I'm definitely not down to let the guitarist shredd a solo out after every second chorus as seems to be the case in a great deal of 80's bands, but I've always liked bass lead music or at least stuff where you could hear the bass separately from the drums and guitar, I guess my ears have always known, and I would love a 100 watt 2 x 12 I'd be able to jam with pretty much everyone around here, and if it had a good EQ on it, I'd be set

Sorry guys, can't seem to post the picture. It's the new Marshall MG-100HDFX with the MG412 speaker cabinet. Can't figure out how to post a picture....Any suggestions? It has 4-12 Celests....Sounds clean as a whistle....

Metal with YOU singing? Now there's an interesting concept. Country metal? Death country metal? Metal grass? NEW GENRE perhaps? Maybe they could metalicize some of your originals...

I've actually got a few originals that border on rap. I still can't classify them as rap as they follow a melodic progression...

I think this is the only sentence that you could use the words "rap" and "melodic" together correctly. :D

Pure rap isn't melodic. If you read the definition of music in Webster's New Universal Unabridged Dictionary I would say rap really isnt music either. This has been argued on Bandmix before. I'm not for or against rap. I literally don't understand the lyrics. I can't keep up with it. By the time I do figure out a line they're already three verses past me. If somebody makes a fortune as a rapper God bless them. I'm just not into it...

Bobby, to post a pic here you have to have a photobucket (etc) account, add the pic there, right click on it, copy "properties" (the url) then come over here to bandmix, click the"IMG" button on the top , right click paste, then click the IMG button again. Hope that helped, (& I hope I remembered that right..)
I'm sure we'd all like to see your new 'baby'!
