Good stuff!

I could actually perceive a bit of your Dick Dale influence coming through on the second tune.
Seems like you would have dig the 60's! (I know I did)
Puts me to mind of Quicksilver Messenger Service, Caravan, and such like creative stuff.

Welcome to the forum,
Howlin'

Sweet stuff Ballistic J.
I admire and love anything different.
Your sound is pretty cool and takes from
many different genres which is a good thing.
That video was trippy hehe, that cat rocks!
So do you like MGMT?
They are kind of Psychedlic at times.
Some other music that you might like
that is not so much psychedelic but kind
of takes you places is some music by
Marillion or Porcupine tree.
Keep writing those cool tunes.

Thanks again for the kind words everyone!
Hayden, I really like that song rollin' its got a really great sound, the reverb goes along rather nicely with your voice on that one.
If there is anyone in the cincy area that wants to start an all original band, PLEASE get a hold of me! I've been playing the last 10 years with no one else to jam with and the songs on my profile are just spur of the moment jams, I got some more music here you can check out too.

Andy,
You're a fine example of why I like Canadians so much.
:D
Howlin'

P.S......
I can recall rockin' out on The Alarm Clock's "The Worlds On Fire" in the 'ol high school gym back in the 60's!. (I've covered the classic "Incense & Peppermints" oh several occasions as well)

In the early 80's, I was pleased to discover that my young drummer in my then current band,"The Needles" (several years my junior) was an admirer of The Clock. They obviously withstood the proverbial "test of time"

Haha appreciate that, J. Yea, a lot of times, I'll venture into a "dark land" of music that I've never really sat down and listened to it carefully.

The 70s had tons of fusion/psychedelic acts that opened up doors [no pun intended] for progressive/ambient bands that came out later. It's quite interesting.

there's not enough psychedelic music in the world IMO. Thanks for making some. I hope to do some myself sometime, soon as I figure out what happened to my imagination. I seem to have lost it recently.

psychedelic music is good for you, and there are so many kinds to, from early floyd (all ther stuff really but you get the idea) to craftwerk, its almost like its day is done and you're just supposed to cover the greats otherwise no one recognizes it anymore

Sorry but it just sounds like a very bad practice session to me.

I never understood that genre, Im sure there are people that love it, but if I took that in the places I play I would get laughed out of there.

Not to be negative its just not my taste and it is a very amateur recording.

Good Luck with it!

Appreciate the critique. Like I said, those songs are basically just practice sessions(one take), I'm not much of a lead guitarist, but prefer to play rhythm since that is what drives a song, I would put a couple of metal tunes I've done on there but metal isn't metal without drums. I would play those songs out at a grass roots type festival and of course I would get to practice more since I would be playing with a band.I'm just trying to get some people interested in starting a band and play out for the love of playing
