Well, hell, 'Drew. I was being serious. Wassup, didn't I use the term right or sumpin? I'll bet that with a little planning I could go there & back in a week, & play at least 5 shows to finance the trip, & even have extra cash when I get home if I don't take my wife cuz she likes to shop so much.

I wanna be an indie, too!

Us Americans are very indie-minded, ya know, even if we ain't as healthy or as educatered or as cold...er...."cool" as you Canuckianics.

haha you don't have to tell me; I know we can be cold when we want to. Not referring to temperature.

Anyways, if you do, grab some videos. Best if you let someone stand in the center and zoom in to get a good range of the frequencies instead of just blown-out bass lol

well gang the gig is up!
I didn't get paid for the last 2 shows, or all of the other work, including creating and grueling over the myspace page for 30+ hours and taking the photo's.
so now i have to go file suit against them Monday to get my money...

just another 2 bit hustler ripping off band's.... we've all seen it TOO many times before!

Here's the other kicker to the situation; after they rip off the first act they book, the 2 guys I booked for Saturday night went down there and played for him anyway. one of them a "supposed" friend!
The fact is, I'd already told someone he would...
Do you see what kind of music community we have in this town?

That realy sucks hayden, Is there annyone we can prank call repeedidly at 3am for the next year. Hope you can work it out court sucks. Glad I didnt add to my freinds.

I've lived all over the country, in major cities, small towns, and dead ass country... I have never seen a more fukd up place filled with more fukd up people in my life!
This is by far dirtier than the worst ghetto I've lived in. and I dont just mean the garbage laying around outside. The people are dirty as hell here. they'll stab their mother in the back to get what they want. Everything here is crooked or twisted toward the few @ the expense of many.
It's also the biggest yes man's club I've ever witnessed. They stand there and agree with whatever is said, then go home and talk like dog's about what was said! Not enough balls in em to be straight and disagree face to face, or make waves to get to the truth or correct bad actions or idea's...

I'm oil, they're water.... very dirty water!

I went down there Friday all day just to observe; if I'm putting my name w/it, I want to know what goes on there. that's when I decided I was hopping off of that train. ... I wouldn't eat there!!!
