The Dallas Mavericks are running a really cool promotion for all of us singers.
The only thing that kinda sucks is that you have to live in DFW to win the prize, which is a trip to Vegas. Pretty much, you submit videos of yourself singing a song to their website by January 5th and people vote for their favorites...the 2 winners get to sing on the court during a game (in a time out probably) and the crowd will determine who gets to go to the finals and qualify for the trip to Vegas!
This is a great way to expose your talent to 20,000+ people!
The clip of you singing can be karaoke, acapalla, or just along to a song on the radio...nobody has really entered yet so chances of winning are still pretty good.
