ZOOM H2 recorder unit..

Howdy fellas, just wanted to tell you that I bought one of these for our church, and got her home today to play with.

So far, I'm very impressed.
Did a simple recording using the front mic pair, picking up ambient room noise.
It came out quite nice.

I mainly got this for the line-in feature...but quickly realized how totally cool this will be at our little impromptu rehearsals/jam sessions etc etc

You gotta check out the mic technology..it's really compelling.
I look forward to testing out the more complex 4 way mic placement during a practice.

I was gonna get it, but I had to get a dynamic first.. and a vox amp.. lol

I had planned on getting one of those. Then I found an engineer that worked some magic on an arrangement of mine so I put the Zoom on the backburner. Hopefully the new year won't be as dismal as I am expecting it to be.

Yeah I got one of these I use it to record practice. Quality is pretty ok considering how loud it is in there. I like how it records in 360 surround sound. check it out here's a link. We haven't gotten around to the whole studio recording yet but this does the job till we can. We are looking for a drummer btw.
