Chat Night

I'm starting this thing "Chat Night with Hayden"
I'm doing it on yahoo messenger on wed from 8-9 pm...
I'll also be performing different original songs live on the chat each wed night.
I had some fans show up for the first one (the week before my band page died) but my headset was fried. maybe I should have dug it out of the case before hand to check it huh.
so this week I'll have it together (I've been saying that for too long)
it's all low tech. just me playing and singing through a single headset mic, and your all welcome to record it if you like!

hayden_king2000 on yahoo messenger

ask me anything....I'll probably lie!

Forgive my web ignorance Hayden. I am not even sure what you are talking about. What is a Yahoo messenger?

it's a chat line I guess. I'm not the techiest guy either! you download it from yahoo and add friends, and you can direct link n chat whenever your online. you can also speak to each other (and many together) live with a headset. that's how I perform live on the chat night.

Whatever floats your boat, man. Not my thing. But if you get a kick out of it, then sure. Why not? :D

I couldn't say I'd be into it, or would do it, unless it was one of those things where I was already famous and 1/2 a million fans would sign up or something.

yeah I'm not crazy about it either, but I figure it's a tool for my music.
and it wont cost me a dime!
I do have some pretty cool fans so it might be a lil fun, and maybe I can get something started with the live performances.
thanks for the input and I hope some of my bandmix brothers n sisters will join in.................

someone shoulda told me about bob!

Oh my God you bores!

It would be good if we could arrange a song critic live or something or are you all dead already?

I think its a good idea Hayden. stay in contact with your fan base. I dont think I would find or make time for that approach. But I do send songs to people who've showed interest in the band.

well it was a lil rough at first but it finally got under way. we only had 7 guests in all and one from bandmix, but it's a start!
one of my roadies friends tried to hijack the show with never ending dyke-amonium but we tossed her soon enough.
I hope some of you will come and set in this wed night. it's very low tech (I use a $15 headset mic from wallmart) and your all welcome to play or just sling the shhhhhhiiiiittttt................

love to hear some o that cigar box blues (wink wink nudge nudge)

to join in just..........................
add hayden_king2000 to your yahoo messenger list
have any cheap mic to play (please don't use a mic for just chat)
if you don't have yahoo mess just google it and download it (it's free/safe/low bites)

I woke up 50 today

Happy birthday, Hayden. I'm out almost every Wed nite at STICKMASTERS, but if the weather keeps up like it is now I'l be there.

ICK! I HATE the freezing rain & won't EVEN drive my unaligned truck in it.

I checked out Hayden's chat last Wednesday and , although I was unable to talk due to a lack of mic on the computer, I did type in some words!
The whole concept is actually pretty cool!
Haydens playin' was good, but it would be a lot better in person ! Audio was a bit muddled.

I had to get my wife (who has the most computer savy around here) to whip me up a yahoo messenger account real quick, and by the time we got it on line, I missed the first half of the show.

I recommend that we all check it out this wed., as it's an interesting form of art unfolding, and Hayden's worth a listen. Might be good to pop a brewskey to set the mood.

B there or B square!

It sounds like fun. If not up too much may stop by. If I had a better connection would think about a persistent Ventrilo server. Would be cool just as a quick collaboration tool.
"What you think of this riff"
"How about this instead..."
etc.

Oh, and happy belated birthday Hayden! :)
