Played with my wife last saturday: did several of her tunes.
It was good, but I wimped out at the last minute in playing the uilleann pipes, cause a couple of notes just weren't consistent enough...& it's like, you get one shot to do it.
But I did do a little whistle, & the reception was great: she sold a few more cd's & the cookies were free.
It was a benefit for CareNet

& I actually forgot how awesome my wife's voice was...

That is cool. My wife is a musician, but shes not played in many years.
I have encouraged her to play again but she always says she is too tired or too busy etc. I wont push, well you know you cant push a woman anyhow. We enjoy doing so many other things together I wished we could share the music as well. She also says we play too loud for her. I suggested headphones but so far no dice.
Glad you had phun. Good to hear from you.
God Bless.

I love doing benefits. Glad I'm not the only one. Glad you enjoyed it, too.

It's great that you both support each other in your musical interest, my wife has always been very supportive, she runs sound, keeps up with the website and councils me. Sounds like we are very lucky people.
