Minneapolis, MN - “What’s That? (A Radiohead Project),” invites fans of Radiohead to attend their debut performance at The Terminal Bar, 409 E. Hennepin Avenue in Northeast Minneapolis on September 4, 2008.

“What’s That? (A Radiohead Project)” is a 7-piece group of seasoned musicians who perform original and traditional interpretations of Radiohead music.

Music will begin at 9pm. Admission is $3 at the door. “What’s That? (A Radiohead Project)” will take the stage at 11:30pm and play until at least 1am.

Formed entirely though Craigslist, “What’s That? (A Radiohead Project)” has been rehearsing since January of 2008. Their current set list boasts 20 of Radiohead’s most popular and challenging songs, including material from Radiohead’s 1997 multi-platinum release, OK Computer, the experimental follow-up Kid A, and their recent name-your-price download release, In Rainbows.

“A lot of people responded to the ad initially, and wanted to audition,” says keyboardist and musical director Marc Z. http://bandmix.com/mysterzee/ “I pointed them towards the most difficult Radiohead songs and said, ‘Can you play this?’ This weeded out a lot of players, but the ones who stuck with it are the ones who are in the band today.”

Marc Z. says he formed the group out of a need to bring Radiohead’s music to the Twin Cities, which the band has so far bypassed on their American tours. “When I saw that Lollapalooza was as close as they were coming this year, I thought there had to be a lot of fans wanting to see them here in the cities, especially after the release of In Rainbows.”

Turnout for the debut of “What’s That? (a Radiohead Project)" is expected to be significant. For more information, see the groups homepage at http://web.mac.com/myster.z
