Let Obama win. Let the famine come. Then the war. Its the only thing thats going to get people to see whats real and what is just cosmetic. Got people who wont pay their bills so they can buy smokes or put $1000 worth of wagon wheels on a car then say they cant afford insurance. The stupid ones just need to die off so we can get back to real liberty and personal responsability in this Country.

ORDERED me to watch Zeitgeist. It makes for interesting debete
while being held down by da man.

Ive been a Govt. hater for a while. The stuff going on right now is scary.
History does repeat itself and we are repeating a part of history that
wasnt very pleasant. Look for USA, Canada and Mexico to become some
type of 'Northern Union' amoungst other things...But, I digress


One good thing to come of this stuff is Art. Art is a reflection of
society. A society in a hyper state of confusion, anger and uncertainty
usually produces stuff that is more provacative than a content,
apathetic one. For music, look at hippy and punk rock eras for
stuff we can relate to. Maybe we will enjoy a resurgence of that ?
I know thats my goal !

Do you think that a society that is predominately in a hyper state of confusion, anger and uncertainty, will, - as a whole - produce and listen to confused, angry and uncertain sounding music?
When I say that, I am referring to the lyrics AND the overall 'feel' of a song.
All reflections of one's emotions . . .
For instance - if someone runs over my dog, I'm not going to feel like playing upbeat nursary rhymes.
If I listen to music - it'll be angry or sad music, probably.

Take away the words - you can leave the vocals - and the remaining emotion of the song will always reflect the emotion inside of me.
I believe society as a whole does the same . . .

A smaller segment of society - the musicians and the lyricists - influence a larger part of society through our own passions . . .
