Peter Gabriel

I saw Live once, just to see the singer, really. He was just as good live as he is in the studio - my gawd what a voice box! One day I'll look up his name, cuz I should know it if I like him so much, but I'm in a hurry this AM.

Well I couldn't give just one, so heres a couple...

Chris Cornell
Layne Staley
Don Dokken
That dude from Bad Company.
Weilands vocals on Plush are about as good as it gets though.

(Oh, and James Hetfield had a real good sound to his voice for Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets... then something happened.)

Gotta mention Ozzy! Dio, Halford, Winger (just checking to see if you're really reading this ;) Plant, Coverdale, dude from Shinedown, the aforementioned, DLR, many from the 70's...not too many good singers in the mainstream rock or metal.

and then...Louie Armstrong, any of the Kings, and my personal fav...Jimi Hendrix! Great guitar player...no doubt, but I really dig the f**k out of his vocal style and phrasing.

Never thought too much about Morrison...

Oh, I forgot Kravitz...and Marley!

Ozzy? As a SINGER? LOL! I put him in the same category as Dylan or Tom Petty or any of the other whiners, myself. Voices that cut through my spine like a serrated knife! Funny one, gbuzzr!

sexguitar - that pic is of a face that only a mother could love!

Hey, howzabout David Byron? My gawd what a range!
