I get an e-mail from production co. to call Nashville office / I call, they say they really like my song's and I'm very talented / bad connection so I ask rep to call my house (land line) / my junkie landlord arrives and I miss the call / I call back 10 min's later / she says she's on other line and will call back after finishing call / I wait / 2 hr.s later I call back and she is in meeting, they take my ph. no. again / I wait / I call at 5:00 no answer / "the next day" / I wait / I call, is she there...no...silence (no she is busy, she will call you back....silence / I say ok thank you / I wait / maybe an hour later / I send e-mail...dont let me be your fish story...why no call back?...dont let me be the big one who got away ( I thought this would be "cute and maybe spunky" and get they're attention / admitidly maybe a mild overreaction / web page handler replys "you are rude" this speaks volume's about your life and dont contact this office again / I sit in a daze wondering WTF / I respond and apologize if I have offended and assure them I had no intention of rudeness, only to get theyre attention and find out why I never got the I'll call you right back call back / he replys and insults me more and call me name's / I respond and try once again to apologize and reassure him I had no Ill intent / he responds and insults me some more and call me some more names / I wait a few days and try to absorb it all; from we love you to you retard! / I give it one last shot / 1 more apologetic e-mail / same kind of response / I give up / I send him an e-mail telling him to go fuk himself / a reply is sent to me / I dont open / i delete fan mail and the next is the reply / this is **** **** the senior manager for the producer *** *****. I just read the e-mail log and I'm shocked! the web attendant will be dealt with severely..I apologize for him and the producer. call me in Nashville office at so n so / I call / he says I'm sorry for the way he treated you, he will be severly repremanded but not fired. thank you and good luck. goodbye / ???????????? WTF. they love me and because I sent an e-mail that was a lil over the top maybe but certainly not deserving of bieng insulted numerous times and absolutely not enough to deter the original desire's of both party's. we contacted each other for a reason and that just seemed to go out the window. ok so I got over anxious at the first shot at a break I've had in 9 year's but to be treated like sh*t for it and then dismissed?????I still cant really absorb it. I mean, is this "good business"? would you feel insulted and belittled? I sure as hell did! the whole thing is just odd. they spent much more time and effort contacting me to apologize and dump me than they did to contact me and arrainge any dealing's with me! am I just not getting what an ass I am? was my e-mail that offensive to justify my treatment and theyre actions (or non actions). are they just that arrogant and touchy? what do you think of it all?

Those two parts speak volumes. Screw those people. The bottom line is that they didn't want to help you anyways. They really only wanted to help themselves, at your expense. f**k em if they can't handle a simple humorous nudge.

Read your post to yourself. They said they liked your songs and thought you were talented. No where in that statement do they say we want to make you a star. They may have just been being polite, nothing more. And them apologizing doesnt mean they are interested, someone with some sense in the organization just realized what an ass someone was. I have to get on people that work for me for being rude to customers sometimes, Im not going to fire them unless its a constant issue.

Keep sending stuff to others and move on.

I guess we all have to rant a little, I hope you feel better.

hey thanks guys....the further I get from it, the more I agree w/u. the guy was bragging about "every label in the industry knows us like the back of their hand" ...funny, i didnt see a single star in their line up. the ass clown who took it upon himself to insult me a half a dozen times over a week turned out to be a 22 yr. old ex NFL player who now wants to be a rap star. sounded like a "ROID HEAD" to me. if someone who was hired to run a "myspace page" took it upon himself to represent the company and cuss out talent who contacted me, i'd not only fire him, i might even take him out back! Hell they dont even have a finished web site yet. hey thanks for responding guys.
we both desired what the other had, but i can get what they have elsewhere w/out dealing w/some jerk ex jock to get it!

I just want to make enough $ to do nothing but write and perform music for the rest of my life. you will "never" see my photo on anything. the fans who come to my shows know who I am and those are the only one's! Steely Dan had it right; no promo pic's. we could have all partied w/them and never knew it. they got to enjoy their success! and they did contact me and said they wanted to help me. I tried to apologize for my "mild" overreaction 3 time's in a row and got nothing but more insult's in return!
