Finally posted something new. Checking our new software and condensor mic. No effects, just 1 take. Probably should have used a click track though to keep better time. Don't beat me up to bad on it I'm just an amature. Only playing the harp a few months and not really a singer.

Will the circle be unbroken , Blues style.

I think it's kind of cool Blair. The vocal has a real old-timey sound to it.

I liked it too. I was expecting like southern rock blues but the old time negro blues feel to it was awsome. Just need to throw in some dobro.
Man that IS the root of the blues and rock.

You must be using circular breathing. Good lungs haha
I love the other recording: the storm one. Great blues feel.
Has a mellow albeit MetallicA feel, and that is nice :D
Wished it was longer though.

Blair, Everytime you put up something new it sounds like your confidence is growing.

Good job with the harmonica.

Technically it sounds like you may be overdriving the mic a little. Im listening on little speakers. No biggie some songs in this vein are known for overdriving the equipment, just be aware of your recording levels when you arent using compression.

I like the harmonica tone and your voice tone.

Thanks for all the kind words and for the advice. Didn't watch levels like I should have. New soft ware and new condensor mic.
Again thanks. I'm hoping to have something great to post soon. Guy from another site did an instrumental and I'm putting words to it. He's got to change the key it's in for me though.
Imagine BB Kings The thrill is gone with Carlos Santanna doing lead on it. that's what this peice sounds like.

Lyrics I'm doing have:

I was working in a bar mixing apple martinni's
For rowdy toutrists in sun dresses and bikini's
