Just curious but are you getting what you want from performing music? How's your BandMix account doing ya? Responses?

If you have music on here, holla, I'll check it out...

I'm a Texan as well. Howdy! We have music posted, some live and some from practice sessions. We dont have it tweeked quite where we want to be but have a great time workin on it. I love to play live when we can get gigs. Its a blast. All I really wanted from Bandmix was to find the musicians I needed to complete our band And We did. The added benefit has come from the great support and advice I have gotten on the forum.

I agree on the support and advice from the forums, I've got better info from people here than most other sites combined.

I like this site a lot & I've "met" some interesting & fun ppl to chat with.

I've had no luck with my ad, but I didn't really expect the world to open up for me when I placed it.

I've also heard some prettty damned good music on here, too. Too many to list for ya, & I'd feel bad if I left anyone out. ( I like most of these ppl a lot.)

Welcome to BM & welcome to the forum. I'll be checking out your stuff within the next few days, as things are kinda collapsing around my ears at the moment around here, & I have a lot of fires to put out.

I totally agree with the getting great advice from the forums around here and realizing that alot of these people are totally cool like Sans, Philby, and Kramer especially. I'm just a dumb guitar player that had troubles even getting my own recording program going and thanks to these guys, I was able to do it on my own without the help of the recording dudes that always did everything for me and just told me to play. This is an awesome community of musicians and I feel priveledged to be part of it to be honest. I've had no luck here myself, but that's how it goes sometimes. Thanks as usual guys and CV: Welcome to Bandmix brother!

I think Bandmix is great, love the forum. I consider the frequent contributors on the forum my friends. I may not agree with everything they say, but for the most part I respect their opinions. I have jammed with a few of the Bandmix people here in Kansas City. Haven't gotten into a band with any of them, but a few I would consider calling up to fill in for a gig here or there (if and when we get a gig). Right now the music scene for bands is very poor in my opinion. Too many people wanting to play in far too few places. We're also having a real problem finding the right lead guitarist. It might have something to do with my personality but more likely just dumbass bad luck. Three of our recent guitarists moved completely out of town. It's tough starting over with anybody. My involvement with music is a labor of love. If and when I've been involved with a hot band it makes up for all the down time. The next "phase" for me is serious recording. (You can check out some music on my profile page-fisherman bob). Good luck and welcome . Later...

I'm getting what I want from performing music .... artistic satisfaction. And like the other responders I enjoy the feedback and general camaraderie with the fellow musicians. CV you have a good sound, a good lead vocal, but MAN! what's up wit the nonstop cussing?
