Once upon a time, we filled venue after venue by calling ourselves "Free Beer"!

We have a 'Free Beer' band here in Detroit, they do pretty good.
How could you not name your band 'Just In Case'?

pretty crazy band names guys...check this out ..true story...While being a member of a pretty solid band named"The JOE (we'll just say...SMITH) BAND", the leader, JOE from the JOE SMITH BAND up and leaves us. While somewhat astonished, the rest of us in THE JOE SMITH BAND, stayed together, but of course needed to come up with a new name.
"Hey Guys", I said ... "how about "THE NO MO-JOE" BAND ? " Get it??? I know...everybody has got to be a comedian... I thought it was funny however I was serious.

That band was our alter ego for one night. Another band that was opening for us cancelled at the last minute, so we agreed to do a double show. We ended up repeating a few songs just because we didn't have 4.5 hours worth of songs in our arsenal, but it gave us a chance to pull out some of our more ridiculous originals that are funny, but that we would not otherwise play.

My friend Franky was in a band called Stiff Kitty, lol! I was in a group once that we called the Hummers. None of us could sing so we all just kinda hummed. Then somebody said "I quit the band so now I just play with myself."
