Damn Jon,
I'd hire ya to play for my barbecue any ol' day! (It would free me up to drink more Guinness!

Jailhouse Rock is on my new band list. I'll turn ya on to my own special 2ed verse variation. (always raises some eyebrows, but I haven't gotten my ass kicked for it YET)

Number 47 said to number 3
now, you're the sweetest jailbird I ever did see
I sure would be delighted with your company
"would you please pick up that bar of soap for me?"

Thanks for postin'
Howlin'

Very nice work, indeed.

Howler, that song just begs for those type of stereotypes...kinda like Folsum prison Blues...

Our version -

"I hear the train a comin'
It's rollin' round the bend
I hope it's bringing some women cuz I'm tired of plookin' men..."

Damn I hope I never go to jail!

I like Rocket man, you sound just like Sir Elton.

Jailhouse Rock, erm.. Did you change the key there? Not your strongest suit.

THANKS.

Elton may be of erm "alternate persuasion" but the guy can play. Can you dispute the guy is a serious musician?

Jon'

Being a blue collar man, I wear steel toe work boots.

Truth is , I couldn't afford to pay you much to play for my barbecue, but you and your lady would definitely be invited to stop by for a beer and to rock out! :D

Howlin'

workboots?

Jailhouse was odd sounding.

Wise men say? I don't know the name. It's a good recording, but old.. whoa nellie.

How about something nearer to Rocket Man? You could do Bowie's Version of Major Tom.. I bet that would sound pretty damn good coming out of you as well.
