:? OKAY, this is my first attempt at self recording. I did record some cassettes back in the sixties and have been recored by others. In all aspects of the word I am a rookie not as much interested in technique as I am technical aspects. comments accepted even from my former antagonists.

Not bad, obviously amiee sounds the best since it was mixed, the other two the vocals lack presence. I prefer to mic acoustic, did you go through an amp, it sounds a little too processed for me. Keep at it.

Ol' Wood & Wires,
There has been a pleasant breeze of good sounds blowin' up from "Ol' Lonestar" lately. Your repertoire as been played hard over the last several decades , but it still sounds good to me. My wife ,Howlin'Cin sez to tell ya that she likes it too. That bad ol' Jimmy Danger is responsible for stickin' Cat Stevens's "Sad Lisa" in my mind , by mentioning it some months back. I've been playing it on the piano lately. If your takin' request, I would like to hear how you might kick it. Best of luck with the musician search.

I liked it, you sound like Willie Nelson to me. (compliment)

Vocal/treble levels down please. (When I can hear the hiss, it's too high)

most humble thanks

I was aware that the quality of the recording was poor. I am working on levels and effects at this point. Makes me wish I new what the other nobs meant, lol. Thanks for thi info on the vocal treble thing this is the imput i am looking for. Something even I can understand I have someone coming by to explain what sound cards and interface have to do with it and I can now route through the PA system I recently got. It is a Berhenger 2442FX most of the effects and controls I have no idead what they do its hit and miss for me. I went back and checked I also listed Sad Lisa as my pick for sad songs heck she sits by the window and stares at the walls, thats a sad person
