It might help if you had some music posted for potential guitarist to hear.

LOL I just made that remark and got slapped by JimmyDanger.
Careful now or the thought police will try to censor you.
I think she is fairly amusant considering she is "pumped" and yet hasn't even one recording of her even singing "Mary had a little lamb".
And for the most part I don't even like female singers as they get less respect on the average.
The only ones I even think sounds good to me is, "Lady Rocker or Greenie". (no i don't own any pat benetar or melissa etheridge)
Don't quit your day job, "Sherry rocks the Sherry bottle". lol
If you go to her my space page, she doesn't have any music on that one, either. (hmmmmmm)

The difference, Captain, is that JW used a more respectful tone in his remark. Of course it would be to her benefit to have music samples posted but this may not be possible for her at this time. This does not necessarily mean that she is not qualified to look for people to make music with. No one is trying to censor you, but if you post arrogance on a public board be prepared to be "slapped down". Peace.

You guys need to go to Lady Rockers myspace and listen to her latest it kicks major tail.
I didnt mean to start a skirmish I just wanted to hear the young lady sing. If I were in the area and a potential applicant for the job I would definitely want to hear something before I loaded up the truck. If she sings half as good as she looks, she might be the next Gwen Stefani.
I would love to be in a group with a hot female lead singer. Nobody wants to look at me, Im too ugly.
Would a group with a good looking female singer attract female fans or male fans? Something to ponder. Dont birds of a feather flock together.

I was in bands with female vocalists in the 80's, there are pros and cons. Obviously guys like to see a nice young lady on stage, so that's a plus. But women musicians can also be moody and the drama can be a bit much (especially at certain times of the month). Being in a band is like an extended marriage/family so hooking up with the right personalities is essential.
Captain, I have Les Pauls that would make better weapons than my Martin, but that would be child abuse.

You really are delusional if you would hit someone with a perfectly good Les Paul. Now an acoustic, that's a weapon !
The Honky Tonk Man, now he had gig down to a "t". lol

Well the Pauls are in the $2500 range but the 76 Martin D28 is worth a lot more. Wasn't it El Kabong who hit the villians with his acoustic? Now that's a cool avatar/name: El Kabong. No I wouldn't hit anybody with any guitars, even a $100 beater. Off to practice.

Hmm, I changed my avatar to El Kabong but it still has my old one showing.

I recently bought a new Chinese-made Ibanez PF acoustic for $227. It has a built-in pickup, eq and tuner and plays great. I couldn't say no, the same guitar made in the US would be $1500.

No content posted = not serious.
As far as female singers, I am in band with one and she is less moody then guys I have played with. There is also 0 drama.
She is one of the boys, and tough as Hell.
If anyone wants to check her vocals out.

I've got an Ovation shallow bowl I picked up for around $400 and everyone loves the tone on it. Plays pretty good to.
Still doesn't hold a candle to the $1200 + models though like the custom legend. Man is that model sweet.

Nothing wrong with showing confidence but once arrogance takes a hold, that's when stagnation comes into play........Sherry just keep believing in your self but just keep your mind open to new ideas and innovation.
