I just got back from playing solo (in East Hampton) at a Farmers Market, this morning.
Hey, what the heck; I was going to practice 3 - 4 hours today, anyway, and their musician cancelled; thought I'd help them out. I played from 9 am - noon, with lots of breaks . . . .
.
. . . venders selling hot peppers, maple syrup, home-made pies, Banana-nut bread & what-not . . .
Acoustic guitarists; let me tell you; if you ever have an offer to play at one of these small gatherings; go.
I met a few musicinas, got some CDs from them, (sold my own).
. . . and, I'm ALWAYS looking for new musicians to play with . . .
. . . got a fresh apple Pie by a lady who got 1st place at a local country fair, a Pumpkin bread . . . man, people were real nice, and were giving me and my wife free cauliflowrs, brocolli, popcorn (still on the ear) and cabbages and stuff . . . I even got 4 different kinds of hot peppers . . .
.
It was real nice.
I've gotta tell you, it was the most fun I've ever had working . . .
