It’s a Kind of Magic, a new revue honoring the music of the legendary rock band Queen, is looking for a drummer, a lead guitarist, and a keyboard/synth player. This theatrical show will feature a cast of ~15 singers, dancers, and actors backed by a live band. Performances to be held in a black-box theater space in San Francisco Sept 6-8 & 13-15 (Fri, Sat, and Sunday nights).

Rehearsal commitment for 5-6 sessions including recording practice tracks in April plus final vocal and dress rehearsals in August. Although this is a bootstrapped production, there is some pay involved.

We are looking to hire seasoned musicians who are dynamic and used to playing rock music. Theater experience and music reading abilities are pluses - but most importantly we're looking for team players who can help build this exciting new show.

Auditions to be held in late February in SF or Berkeley. Email producer Carolyn at: [email protected] for more details and to set up an audition.
