ahhhh. we've all heard worse, kerry.

but lord knows it's hard for me to take "cookie monster" vcls seriously.but the deal breaker for me is...i don't care whatever kind of music you're playing....the drums have to be 120% together w whatever else is going on or i'm out. you guys can improve in that dept.

great fcking bandname tho!

Actually some of the metal bands are outstanding players. Doesn't mean I like it all and I rarely like 'growling' but I make a huge exception for Children of Bodom - here is how they approach classical with a little Vivaldi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWx_GyTLGmQ

I suspect a lot of the local (USA) metal hands are more into 'melting faces' than learning the complexities involved banging out the sounds like Jim Mustaine and others do - the best statistically seems to be coming from Europe. (Finland!)
