Singer Wanted!

We are losing our current singer at the end of June due to a move. We have one final show setup at the end of June as a farewell show for our singer Dan. We wish him well!!

What we are looking for:

Someone that is outgoing and energetic that can carry a show. Be able to sing/growl/scream or just make general noises that go along with the music! We have a practice space in N.E. Columbia. Be able to practice at least once a week. Don't be a douche! We are currently doing metal and some punk/hardcode but are leaning towards all metal. What does that mean you ask? I have no clue either, but I would say it just means we play hard loud and fast and want to melt the faces off the people in the crowd!

We have lyrics to the existing songs that can be used but that's negotiable. Be able to write songs to new music that we are currently writing and future new material.

We do have some songs recorded on Reverb Nation. These are just some basic recordings we did at our practice space so don't expect too much. These were originally meant for internal use only but since we don't have any good recordings these will have to do.

Do you have what it takes!? We are waiting for you...

Thanks,

ahhhh. we've all heard worse, kerry.

but lord knows it's hard for me to take "cookie monster" vcls seriously.but the deal breaker for me is...i don't care whatever kind of music you're playing....the drums have to be 120% together w whatever else is going on or i'm out. you guys can improve in that dept.

great fcking bandname tho!

Actually some of the metal bands are outstanding players. Doesn't mean I like it all and I rarely like 'growling' but I make a huge exception for Children of Bodom - here is how they approach classical with a little Vivaldi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWx_GyTLGmQ

I suspect a lot of the local (USA) metal hands are more into 'melting faces' than learning the complexities involved banging out the sounds like Jim Mustaine and others do - the best statistically seems to be coming from Europe. (Finland!)
