This week's tour (July 25-29, 2016) has a open dates midweek so I'm going to go hiking or jamming or maybe do some VR filming....

Oy, just did 7 concerts in 8 days, traveling from New Jersey to Massachussetts then across upstate New York. Today I'm in Canton and my next stop is St Louis next weekend, so I'm just wondering if any of my bandmix mates are jamming (even a rehearsal) this week within that general region? We could hang out and have a (real) beer if you aren't. Sorry but Detroit is too far north from here, Jimmy. Catch you next time.

Mark? Anybody?

I'll see if I can help convert the poor soul to REAL beer.

oh man....found a great little jam session last night.

The guy in charge, Frank Melody, was playing drums, singing, and doing the rhythm/lead guitar parts all AT THE SAME TIME.

So I played bass for about half the night, did some sangin'

Think I'll go back for more tonight....

I have no idea but I just posted it on YouTube so I can show you. Not saying he's the best at any of those positions, but I seriously wonder how he keeps it all separated in his head?

I got a guy at Union Station in NYC a few weeks ago on VR who was playing drums and banjo while singing at the same time, but it wasn't a full kit. Just a kick pedal (while standing up) with some cymbals. I'll post that when I get it stitched...but Frank in Mansfield did several songs this way.

They were a lot of fun to jam with.

Need to pick you up one, Schmeddy.
Great for vamps!! :D

Looks like we were both wrong, Jook!

But seriously, how awesome would it have been if he had at least 4 arms?
Quite ambidextrous to begin with. :D

My brother is really into a hippie guy called Keller Williams who does that looping station biz.
You should hear his mashup of Van Morrison's Moon Dance and Herb Alpert's A Taste Of Honey.
