Looking for a reliable drummer to join our band. The direction of our music is influenced by blues metal (Sabbath, Danzig, Clutch), funk (Funkadelic, Fishbone), punky reggae/ska (Bad Brains, Sublime).

We practice together once a week - on the weekends, have original materials and a few covers. Since we haven't been able to secure a regular drummer, our songs need some work. Hoping to find someone that is looking to contribute to the sound and style, be reliable, and high energy.

don't scoff...i knew more than a few reliable drummers when i was still in NY. Kew Gardens isn't too far from my old stomping grounds of Bayside.

You guys are too much! I realize (12 drummers later) that reliable drummers are hard to find. But I keep hope alive.

Good ones don't have drinking problems, women problems, law problems or psychological problems. So that means there's about five good ones in the whole country.

Yeah, yeah. I'm glad that it's not just our band that's having a problem. But it doesn't help the situation.

Fun fact: Echo And The Bunnymen got their name because of the fact that they were 3 dudes with a primitive drum machine, 'Echo'. The real drummer came later.
