Tampa Bay area Show band needs a male vocalist!
Posted: Tue May 12, 2015 4:25 pmWe are putting together a 12 piece show band “R B & The Gang”, with the intent of playing private events, corporate events, weddings, etc. We play 60's, 70's, 80's hi energy songs-Motown, Stax, Atlantic, Disco-soul type music. We need one more member-a male vocalist.
You will be asked to sing the songs pretty much the way they were originally recorded. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO HARMONIZE. Probably not the place for a rookie, as you'll be working with very experienced musicians and singers.

Read this very carefully.....THIS IS NOT A BAND THAT WILL PAY YOUR BILLS OR MAKE THE RENT EACH MONTH-it is a project which will take some time to perfect. You must be available to rehearse 1-2 times a week. The 2-90 minute shows are put together- YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE TO RUSKIN AT LEAST ONCE WEEKLY for 6-8 weeks while still putting shows together.-Once together, 1-2 a month to keep things fresh. Ideal member would be located between Brandon and Bradenton-Ruskin is right in the middle. We practice at this location-3015 39th Ave SE, Ruskin, 33570. Please-mapquest from your location to see if the travel makes sense for you.
