I am a baritone crooner located in Manhattan. I specialize in the great American songbook - otherwise known as Tin Pan Alley. I've performed so with various swing orchestras, combos and accompanists since the 1990's.

I'm looking to form a small combo to book paid gigs in hotels, clubs, bars, parties etc in and around NYC. I'm open to ideas about how to book paid steady gigs with our combo. Seeking a pianist is experienced with classic American pop songs of Tin Pan Alley.

This is pre-swing music, NOT 1940's bebop or boogie. It is NOT 1950's lounge jazz. Think Paul Whiteman or Max Raab. The focus here is on melody and rhythm. I have my own lead sheets.

Our look will also be important - i.e. dressing and grooming in an appropriately 1920's/30's manner. Good improv, site reading and transposing skills are important too.

Please contact me with a link to samples of your work and your details If this is you and you are interested in taking part in forming combo of this kind and working on booking paid gigs,. Serious only.
