Ahhh... another acoustic thing... was going to be "Roadkill stew" but lyrically was tough to finish so it became "Homesick" in its place....
Got fix a few things but close enough for now... this aint no opus this aint no disco it's just foolin around!

Vocals need to come up front more. Sounds like you did some vocal sections in two separate takes like and 'call and answer'? Doesn't sound quite right, not sure if its the phase or something. Got a good laid-back blues feel, though!

Yeah I think on this mix the vocals could be raised a notch or two. I thought this was one of my better vocal efforts (for what that's worth) I felt a little more relaxed. Probably the key... And less words.
But damn... I like the back and forth parts.

Maybe it's the slightly different tone on the call and answer tha tI don't find quite right. How about panning each one more to the side (one left and one right about 2/3)?

That was how it started one left one right and I had a distortion on one for an old nasally mic effect but pulled it and just went with this.

Listened to it again this morning, but I stick with my original comments, vocals need to come up in volume (and there are some very low volume parts that need to be evened off), and try more of a left-right split on the call-and-answer, with maybe the last line in each verse doubled up (center balanced) for emphasis.
