This tune was an idea that came from another song similar progression but I liked the rhythm and wanted to do something with it so here it is.
Had a friend collab and play his strat on the middle lead in the song.
Click on the link if you want to hear it... I just uploaded to Drop Box.

No Woman Blues

Gonna find me a woman chase away my Blues
Going to find me a woman That's what I'm gonna do

I've been searching all night long skipping bar to bar
and I know shes out there somewhere wonder where you are

Gonna find me a woman chase these blues away

Well my momma always said better pay your rent and a good loving woman is heaven sent
Gonna find me a woman ease my restless soul

Gonna find me a woman pretty as can be
Gonna find me a woman like the one I saw on TV

She said I could call her anytime but to my surprise
You know she put me hold said I wasn't the only one she charged a dollar ninety-nine huh....

Gonna find me a woman leave my money alone

Well my momma always said boy you be on time
but aint no hoochie coochie momma worth a nickel or a dime
Gonna find me a woman before the morning light
don't make me cry

Yeah Gonna find me a woman won't spend my life alone
Gonna find me a woman sanctify my soul

I know a pretty little place we could settle down
Gonna find me a woman like me shes tired of messing around

I'm going down... going down... walking down the street
going down... going down... walking down the street

Gonna find me a woman won't spend my life alone
Gonna find me a woman sanctify my soul
Pretty as can be
Pretty as can be

Ignore the troll. He's been reported.

How come dropbox, and not your BM player, or even your reverbnaiton player?
Will listen this weekend.

Said it before, say it again.

Too bad we are so far distant.

You, my boyz and I . . . we could do some stuff.

And as always

Thank you for posting music. 8)

Mike it was a one foot out the door kind of song... nothing I took too seriously but I thought I'd post it anyway.
I swore off collabing but I like the way this guy in Spain plays so I asked him to play a bit on it. Just for chits and giggles. So he did the solo in the middle of the song.
Took longer to mix it than anything else... my head was scrambled eggs the past week. Had to put down one of our labs!
This was a nice distraction at times...

Sans Thanks man!
Yeah I'm sure we could put a song or two down... and afterward... a beer!
Funny there are plenty of posters here that could probably work together but we're all scattered across the states. Still cool to hear what others are doing musically to me! 8)

Cool, it played right from the dropbox link.

Man, you got to get out of your recording room and play some gigs!

Sorry about your dog. My wife doesn't want to hear it about our old dog, but she can't even get up by herself any more, and doesn't even know when she's dropped turd on the carpet.

Thanks Mike... It's a tough thing to have to put em down but in my dogs case he had cancerous tumors all over his body and he began to suffer. It would have been selfish of us to try and keep him around considering his condition.
His digestive tract was beginning to fail him causing continuous pain. The last few days was a more drastic change in his behavior appetite etc... we knew for the past 2 months he was heading into the last stage. He was a great dog and spirit... and a good friend... he's missed.

Yeah Drop Box is a great tool to have for a direct link to a song.
Just upload the song into your public folder
Copy the link... and you can paste it anywhere for access to the song.

My patrol encountered a rancher with a very sick dog once. The Lieutenant stuck his pistol in my hand and said, "You know what to do Reb."

I handed it back to him. Just can't do that.

The dog died soon after.

I was touched though, that everyone involved cared about that poor dog.
