Maybe give this guy a listen and idk if he's close to your position, but I figured I would give you a shove, maybe you meet someone who you would like to work with. Who knows?> I just know he's in MA, like you.

I'd be heading somewhere south (and warmer) myself! Looking at southern Virginia in a few years, maybe.

I tried hard to sew things up around here and it's just not working.

I got a few bunches of people doing things, no 2 are the same or so it would seem. (sick of the strife)

Everyone doesn't like everyone else. LOL (who cares, shut up and play)

I am no baby sitter and it shows.

I spoke to the short guy earlier, in an effort to attempt to get things on track, as I had something really interesting to offer, material-wise. He did his usual. (head in the sand)

He countered with an offer to audition for something I wasn't really interested in, would only take me 2 weeks to prep for it. (waive of hand) No big deal, right?

I countered with a "you work with me a little and I'll do what you ask", as in QUID PRO QUO and the asshole bailed on me. That didn't suit him. (TOO BAD, SO SAD, BUH BYE NOW.)

Some things never change. "It's ok to ask me to prepare for your cover band of tripe, but you can't help me out in return". (People must be stupid.)

Meanwhile I got it together to do a few things, never with the same bunch or so it seems. I made a little cash. I danced a little dance. I showed a little show. You get the idea.

And then I got an offer from a bunch not from here....and they seem more interested in what's going on than any thus far.

If I have anything to say after the fact, we'll take it from there.

Besides NJ is fit for neither man nor beast. You have to get the hell out before it sucks the life out of you and the other locale is looking good right about now.

Realistically, I'd go to the moon to find a bunch of musicians that don't resemble what I've seen of late. Your group dynamic is so important..and anyone that won't do what they ask of you is just a moron in training or a real mental deficient.

You have to give to get and some will never understand this concept of camaraderie.

"No man is an island" and never let them think or tell you they are or you are asking for trouble.
