Crossposting this over in this section, as so much gets bypassed over in the general area due to the contined bickering posts.

Firebird posted these lyrics back in September, said I could 'steal' them.
Saturday I picked them up and quickly put some chords to it, set up a single mic and did a 1-take recording, up on my BM player now.

Especially if you didn't communicate much with the writer.
Does have "Ventura Hwy" kind of moments...

Enjoyable.
I suppose it's my abused ear and your vocal range . . . I just have difficulty making out the lyrics.
Admitidly not so much so when I use my headphones.

Single mic take, too, just for reference. Last night I picked up the guitar real quick and had no recollection of the melody I was trying out (or anything but the basic chord change)! Good thing I recorded what I did. I may save it for the next songwriters group meeting.
