I used to watch 'Hee Haw' just for Roy Clark's stuff. Oh yeah, and the pretty girls in daisy-dukes. 8)

I guess Buck hasn't been pickin' for a while? Always loved that Roy could play guitar, banjo, or fiddle, and be equally as good on the instrument, no matter which it was.

keep watching . . . he keeps doing different stuff; it starts getting intense around halfway, but watch from the start.
I've always enjoyed him.

Roy was unsuspectingly a big influence on me.
I remember laying on the floor mesmerized by his playing sections on Hee Haw.
Though my parents had no intention of purchasing nor tolerating an instrument for me, despite the fact my sisters all played in their various High School Bands, it would not be until I was able to purchase my own that the journey began.
And by then the yearnings left inside me by an eight track from IRON BUTTERFLY I had found in the bar ditch while out horse riding had totally supplanted Roy's influence.

Or so I thought.

I've seen this vid before. He's fun to watch!

Here's one of my favorites Roberto Luti... more of a Bluesman but I love the feel he plays with. Check out that strat... seen some years of playing for sure!

Very funny and talented. Looks like a fairly narrow neck width he uses.

Damn Jahva - those folks are good. A secret vice of mine is Flamenco - always thought that was so cool. I have the boots but can't dance worth a lick....

Flamenco and Metal - that's a winning combination for me!

Mike,
Guitar Center does a program on Direct TV called "Sessions"
They've had some really good performances including Joe Walsh one of my favorites... but that's where I first saw Rodrigo y Gabriela very entertaining pair.
Here's a YT link to watch some of the artists.

You're a Megadeath fan right? They did a session you can find them on this link.

I've heard Rodrigo y Gabriela - very entertaining. They played in Boston last year, but it was a week night and a venue I'm not crazy about.
