New tune.... first mix... needs vocal work yada yada yada...
But I'm liking the over-all sound of it. Just got to get some of that there vocal polish on it. Yup!
Give a listen if you like... any comments are welcome.
Called Four Letter Word first on my player with the lyrics!

The vocals need some 'air' (high EQ up). The handclaps are too in front during the lead guitar part. Possibly some reverb on everything to bring it together.

Thanks Mike... I adjusted the claps. It's still a w.i.p. especially the vox tracks... and some of the lines. Still I like where it's going.

Listening now.
Enjoyable, layed back, nice guitar work on the solos.
But as I find usual with your mix, I have difficulty making out all the lyrics.
I cannot blame my speakers this as I have my phones in the house this week.

Like to make a suggestion in composition if you don't mind.

Consider some brief rest for dynamics.

Such as at 00:37 & maybe 01:28 ?

LOL Sans... sorry that wasn't the song. I accidentally uploaded a song called "for your love" wrong tune. That ones a mess and a half.
I think my eyes are going... "for" instead of "four" meh.
The right song is on the page now.

Sounds like fun, happy, party music.
I, personally, can not relate to this.. it's too happy for me.

But pretty well constructed otherwise, gj Jahva..

Thanks for checking it out guys...
Happy... yeah it is a bit on the campy side. :P I started out with the intent of a early Beatle sound. Quickly got away from that but I still had a good time trying to make it something.
They never finish quite like the original thought... just take on their own identity.

YOU KNOW IT, MAN.

I never know what is coming out until it's done.

I get dipshits calling me a mocking bird of this or that, but the truth is I have no control whatsoever of what it will be until it's done.

It's kind of like if I don't let it go the way it wants to go, it won't be as good.

Better to produce something that is good than something you really want, because more often than not, the 2 are not the same.

Just let it become whatever it wants to be. That's how you get the best product.

And when the ignorant types blast you for being this or that, you can look them in the eye and smile, knowing that "it is what it is" and you had very little to do with what they think it is.

You just shrug your shoulders and laugh a little bit.
(But they never believe you and then they get all bitter and sh*t. lol)

SSDD

As a child, my father taught me never to force anything or you'll break it.

That is ESPECIALLY true for writing music. "Trill man, way Trill". (clicks fingers) lol

LOVE IT! that really put a smile on my face, thanks.

great gtr tones w just the right amt of crunch. i'd lose the handclaps though. they distract from the gtr solo. you don't really sound much like him...well, maybe a little... but that really put me in mind of Ray Davies.

The mix is much better now!
I know you don't usually do much for harmonies, but I think adding a harmony line in some of the accent lines in the choruses and the ending would be good.

Lol Scott I had to pull out my urban dictionary for trill... That's the only way. I use to concern myself with direction... I think you just have to say FAQ it and just do what you do.
Yeah if you find yourself fumbling around in the dark you will occasionally run into a train but sometimes you find the light of day. I guess I subscribe to the saying there are no bad songs just unfinished ones. 8)

Thanks PG... I appreciate that. I've gotten the Ray Davies thing before. Not bad company imo. 8) usually the songs with some attempted lyrical humor. May be self deprecating at times... But hey we all have our short comings. Better to know em than be surprised when someone points it out to you. Right... :P

There is more to the ending just haven't gotten to yet... And there is suppose to be a harmony on the last verse. I was kind of worn out trying to sing the body I ran out of time and really my chitty voice will only hold up for so long till the wife tells me to stfu! I should get it done by weekend. But yeah a harmony is needed.
