Got a local drummer to record real drums for this track and just completed the first mix (on my player). Now all I need is a kick-ass sax player to redo the sax track!

Sounds good Mike. There's a little bit of competition going on in the high-mids... but not bad.
Any chance of getting a little more finger action on the piano after the first chorus around the 1 minute mark? Would be sweet to hear a lil tickling there going into the 2nd verse.
I can't give too much techy speak on it but I like the song progression and the theme.
Only spot to critique on the vocals would be the 2nd verse line "I remember" even if you just add "And" then "I remember" so the line starts just a bit before. That's nit-picking but it's real close to being really good imo.

Oh yeah the drums... nice! 8)

Thanks for listening and comments. Don't think I want to re-record the vocals, but will see. I haven't used my usual 'listening room (my truck) for
this song yet, waiting to get a few songs done first.
Wish Mark (here) hadn't left to pursue school stuff, could have used his sax playing.

The drummer also recorded drums for my new song Humanity Zoo, that's next in the mixing room, but probably need to do some more tracking for that one too.

Did the first mix of Zoo, and pretty happy with it, will get it up here soon. What a difference in 'feel' real drums give!

Ummm, for some reason I wasn't happy with your sax line.
Oh ok, I see you mentioned that..sorry.
(I'd like to hear someone play the sax harder and more aggressively.)

Anyone ever tell you that you sound a lot like the Kinks vocalist, Ray Davies?
That last tune sounds like a hidden track off of "LOW BUDGET".

I feel your on the right track, and going strong.
Admittedly, not really my thing, but seems the more I work acoustic with Eric the greater my appreciation for different " genre' " becomes.

As always, thanks for posting music.

Thanks for listening guys. Know any sax players who want to contribute a fast track?
