Posted: Fri Jun 08, 2007 1:54 amI know theres nothing very Tech. with the Seattle eras alternative/modern rock. But there is alot of talent to discover if your looking for it. The simple two string chords. Tunning LOW....Low C, etc. Added so much more, As to say "Guts". Funk. Loud three piece band. Using dynamics and just simply push the power! From around 1993 until now is one, If not my favorite era's in music history. But, If your not into it. Thats Kool Too........

Posted: Thu Oct 11, 2007 9:05 pmSeattle is a mixed bag. Yeah, it's produced some quality acts and artists, but again so have many other places. I have a friend that lives on Vashon (sp?) Island and went to visit her for a week in Seatlle. I liked Pikes Market, I liked the seafood, yes, I liked the coffee shops too. But all that rain...forget it. I could never live there. The clouds and rain, too depressing. I'd wanna off myself in a month.

Posted: Fri Oct 12, 2007 1:33 pmThe thing that Seattle had was a scene. The bands used to support each other and go to each other's shows (see the movie "Hype" for more on that). This is a rare thing in r&r; most bands are just out for themselves. There was a scene in Detroit for a while but it seems to have cooled; the music biz is going through some real changes.
