sick and twisted

So I got a message from a bassist today.
I was very enthusiastic until I found out he's a hardcore drummer, gone bassist.

He states that he used to play for 2 hardcore bands as a drummer before he decided to solidify his position in the musical world and go bassist.

No sample.. (rolls eyes)

So I was looking around to see what I could find out and I found these.
One of the bands he played with is "Knuckle Up".

I have to laugh, I get 100 drummers at a time and I have no idea why.

I remain hopeful but after seeing those 2 videos, I am having a hard time being optimistic. I guess I am going to do what I always do and jam with him a little to see if he's got something intangible about him and the way he plays.

I don't know whether he's the drummer or the gigantic bassist in the video.

(gulp)

I love how it oscillates. One minute I am not heavy enough to warrant a try out for a heavier band, the next I have hardcore refugees considering the situation.

Does it ever get dull or easy?? lol
(OMG)
