Tampa Area Venues/Musicians

So i just moved down to Land O' Lakes Florida and was seeing if there was anyone in the area that can recommend any places that have open mics or local music stores? Id like to meet some new people who would like to jam out a little. Thanks!

Check out the Yahoo group: TBJammers. There are quite a few jam sites and open mics in the Tampa/St. Pete area. Also look into the Tampa Bay Musicians Meetup Group.
