Someone just asked me where I take my amps to be serviced.
I only go one place now. "Dave's Sound Repair" in Whippany, NJ.

Dave Hirsch runs a tight shop. Don't bother mentioning my name, he won't even know who I am and that's the way I like it.
He does great work at a fair price. He's predominantly a FENDER guy, but he can fix your Marshall amp as well. He likes vintages stuff as much or more than the next guy and it's always cheaper then I thought it would be.
Like I wrote to the other chap, take it to Dave but call before you go.
973-386-5840.
If you have any other questions, just call him.
I found out about him via a theater contact in VA and they swear by him and now so do I.
