Would definitely take some re-learning one's keyboard skills!

That is a pretty instrument. I wonder if they are floating into the music stores yet?

Don't think it's available for purchase yet.
Would be interesting to hear it in the right hands... some multifaceted bassist/pianist...
The folks who produce today's ambient synth sounds would probably have a blast with one.

What this is, is a more modern version of the Haken Continuum Fingerboard.

Personally I like 88 weighted keys, I hardly play
my synthesizer anymore, really been into Chopin
lately.
I don't like the pressure pads or whatever you call
them. Like on the Line6 amps they have pressure pads
to switch between recordings, and after awhile these pressure
pads wear out and you have to press them hard and every
whicha way to get thgem to work, at least on the Line6
pressure pads.

Looks very similar with the continuum being the lower pad below the keyboard... The keyboard appears to be the biggest difference.
Interesting either way.
