Filled out song info which does not even appear anywhere.... Tried to search for my page by zip and city... Had to give up.... Took so long meanwhile my cat died and the tree in my front to yard got old, rotted and died as well. You would think a newer post would be the most current.... I got tired just trying to find MYSELF let alone anyone else finding get me.... I did not pay anything.....So I guess you get what you pay for... Nice site though.... Audio sounds nice... Too bad I'm the only one who will ever hear it.... Lol

I usually use Craigslist and redirect people here to see the profile, videos, and hear what I've got.
On it's own, Bandmix isn't very impressive.
But, it is useful when combined with other services.

I did a search of your zip code and was able to find you. And you were on the first page.
From my experience here the more active you are on your site, the higher you are on the list in searches. I don't think most find what they're looking for here so expect to find many dormant accounts.
Anyway good luck to you.
Nice job on your recordings.

If you are talking about your (free) BM profile, its searchable by state, town or zip, but will quickly disappear down the page for state listings as others update their profiles (the most recently-updated go to the top, that's why you see people coming here every day to update their profile - to keep them on the first page).

As far as any problems with videos or music - for the BM music player to work correctly, you need to upload MP3s (despite what it says - other formats will only work for downloading - if you have selected to allow that feature). Videos need to have the correct link saved (youtube, vimeo, etc).

Thanks!! H

I have been several times in the past a "Premier Member" although I currently am not.

I was, over a period of many months, able to find and obtain several members of our Band, JERICHO MARCH.

I did this by utilizing the search function daily. I would contact anyone in my geographic area that were active in the last 48 hours.
Maintained a list ( actually the message section does this for us ) of those previously contacted. And contacted anyone new or that was recently active. Musicians know other musicians so I did not limit my contacts based on my needs or the others profile, but contacted everyone with a short list of my needs.
The search function will sequence users by last activity date for you when set up to do so..
As well as limit your search criteria to X number of miles from your postal code.

I'm a free member and I have gotten TONS of miles out of this site...
Keep banging at it, things will get correct with you soon enough.

I think RGM is in Minnesota, if my memory serves me.
I'd try to hook up with him, he's obviously at the top of his game.

His handle is RGM Mix, I do believe...if you have difficulties, just say something and we'll do what we can to facilitate.

Well I'm new here so I'm checking it out. I'm a vocalist and rarely do any posting but I figured it might be a good way to network. So if anyone is looking for a serious Classic Rock Vocalist drop me a line. There's always a way to contact me.

PS: Checking out your music, Harry.

Very nice, sounds like .38 Special to me..very cool.

So glad you have music posted and no one actually had to tell you, says an awful lot about you as a musician.

Welcome to Bmix...

You'll have more luck (not any guarantee, though) if you put some music on your profile, and actually put a way to contact you in the profile!

HARRY,

You're all class, Bro.

If more people would say "oops" when they made a boo boo instead of saying it' some one else's fault the whole world would be a better place.

You ever get to Cleveland you look me up.

We can session with some of my pals here and then I'm buyin' a few cold ones!

God bless and Break a leg!

Steve 'da ol' smokedog in Cleveland
