on my BM page. If you're in a bad mood and feel like you need some target practice have at it.
Mind you I'm not a singer... just play one in me basement!
The last tune Freedom's gone was in part inspired by all of the political wars as seen on the main forum here... just a short 2 minute piece.
Peace!

Hey Jahva, Great songs...Lyrically excellent. My favorite one on your profile is "Quite Sure"

The vocals on all your songs are sort of in the back and should be brought forward more in the mix. You have great 'diction' when you sing...and nice tone to the voices,. Needs to be up front...

Well Done over all

I liked "Why War" the best, followed by "Freedom's Gone".

(I don't like the quick ending on Freedom's Gone, though.
If you have enough to do 2 minutes, do us all favor and flesh it all out.
Do not write 2 minute songs..)

"Wanted more" isn't bad either.

The only one that didn't speak to me was "Quite Sure", as in I was quite sure that was my least favorite..lol

Gee glad to hear that wasn't a train wreck, like I was half expecting. (gulp)

GJ Jahva..

A musician posting music on Bandmix . . . How dare you !

Thanks, I enjoyed them.

I love to hear real music from real musicians. Not some canned processed sh*t, like spray cheese, only intended to be sold to the moronic masses.

PD,
Thanks for your comments. Meh... the vocals are done out of necessity, but I have gotten more comfortable with doing them.

Capt.
lol! I hear the train a comin....
 I hear you... Freedoms gone was just a quick experiment. Quick indeed. I've thought about revisiting and adding another verse but most of this is just cut em and move on to the next.
Thanks for listening... I do appreciate it.

Sans,
Hey if the moronic masses want some I'm sure I have some left over spray cheese in me cuppboard... yup right next to the 30 year old Twinkies.
Thanks for taking the time and your comments.

I don't like PUNK music basically at all.

I like some of Jimmy's stuff though (no offense meant).

I had a bad experience when I was playing with "MOTORWOLF".

This one guy was mixing punk into everything and I am just not built to do punk music, just like I don't compute Country and Western.

(If I ever did any County and Western that was passable, it was accidental.)

Oh ok, at one point I was digging SUBURBIA/Repo Man and some of that, but I don't play it.

Some great tunes from those 2..yea man..

"Charming friends you have there, Otto"....

God forbid if anybody plays cowpunk with you.

Yep, I'd be trying to pass off.

NO PUNK AND NO COW.

There's a tiny little bit of cow/punk/western on the end of "Come and Gone" but it's not up yet, I didn't get the copy from the mastering session of yesterday so you can't get what I don't got yet.

-A Special thanks to "Bob's Country Bunkhouse" for letting us record the tune at their spacious location.

(And faq that chicken wire in front of the stage, you people are buffoons and if I see the "richard" that threw the bottle at Sven, you'll be limping home unless you spend the night in the "gutter motel". )

See you next Monday night, funny man..we'll see who laughs last.

I sat in to replace an ailing punk bass player one night and like to worked myself to death. Only ever played about 3 or 4 notes (hmmm - like country eh?) but they played so fast I was out of breath by the end of the first 2 minute extravaganza! 8)

Not my cup of tea in some ways but I kind of like it in others. Never could buy grunge though. please...just sort slow rap about teenage angst.

If you were doing it right, it's all downstrokes too.

Why War - there's a spot around 1:48 (and a little before, and again around 2:40) where the lead guitar goes off key, I guess you planned it that way, but I'd redo it -otherwise, catchy song!

Quite Sure - another catchy one, need to work on the mix, find places in teh mix for the drums and guitars and keys/accordian, the snare is walking over the guitars (or vice versa). Reminds me of some of Great Big Sea's original pop songs.

Freedom's Gone - this has the potential to be a real moving song. Write another verse, add a bridge and lead section.

Actually - your vocals aren't bad at all. If you were near hear I'd play some bass or lead for you and know a couple joints that would tolerate it.

You could play out with what you have man. Seriously.

Thanks Mike.
That's the best offer I've had in 2 years...
Would be fun though... I'm sure I could fake my way through a few before the hook arrives!
