Ok, name 1 politician that you think is a corrupt bastard or that you dislike intensely.

My #1 is Dick Cheney.. I hope he ends up in the fiery pits of hell. LOL

(kind of like.. I think that's where my next tune is going.. lol)

I don't like Cheney because I perceive him to be "crooked as the day is long" and he fuct up everything he ever touched.

(Hangin's too good for him, burning is too good for him, he should be torn into little bitsy pieces and buried alive.) (Extra points if you know what that line is from)

Oh, Dick is way up on my list, next to Dick Nixon before him.
Not sure if I really hate or pity Dubya Shrub; a willing puppet of assh0les like Cheney & Rumsfeld.
I hope they all smoke a turd in Hell.

I don't like liars.

If I catch someone lying, they are never trusted again.

Pretty much rules out the whole Democrat Party (with a few rare exceptions) and the majority of the GOP too.

But the real criminals in this country are the press who covers for them. The First Amendment was never meant to give cover to liars, and they have convinced all you guys to swallow the bull you're posting now.

It's criminal but you came by it honestly.

I despise them all equally. Which apparently makes me a racist, a homophone, a sexist and all that other nonsense.

Note - a homophone is someone who hates talking to homosexuals on the phone!

Well, at least we agree on that much.

"The press" yea that's an awesome answer.
Kudos, I didn't even think of that one.

As for who's watching? All those politician turds can go down the toilet bowl at the same time for all I care. I wonder if they sleep OK at night with all the dirty deals they do on a daily basis.

I'm a regular guy and I just don't give a fat crap anymore.
If you can't be honest, you need to be gone.
And as far as I can tell, there is not even a single honest politician left.
They all need money, they all take campaign contributions, thus they all have allegiances that lie outside what the regular folks who elected them think and believe.

All they do is get paid too much to do nothing and ignore their constituents.

I.e. Q: WTF are they really good for anyway? A: Nothing.

When lobbyists can do what they do openly without fear of reprisal, we the proletariat, are faqed from the get go.

I say, "what can they do to me"? raise my taxes? LOLOLOL
I know that's already in the works.

They going to screw me out of a show? I realllllly don't think so..the music I am playing isn't mainstream.

They going to bump me off? I sincerely doubt it.

I reiterate, "what are they going to do"?

God forbid that one of those flea bags reads this and does his job just a tiny, little bit better than yesterday.

If that's the case, then maybe I did what I was supposed to do and last time I checked being free was part of the American dream.

I don't live in 'Merica, I live in America and I would like to see a return to something better then we have now..

Maybe being aware and willing to take a stand has something to do with it.

I've never been boneless..and I don't plan to check my backbone at the door. (It's not removable.)

I may be labeled a RABBLE ROUSER but I haven't started any riots yet and nothing is burning..

A couple non-partisan observations

They're all equally corrupted, be it Democrat or Republican, and it's sad that these days we vote for the lesser of the two evils based on how they present themselves (in the case of the President foremost) and immediately look forward to and speculate over who's going to run next time. It just doesn't matter anymore - the good ol' days are long behind us and we, our children, and probably our grandchildren too, are in for a rough time as the system that's grown far beyond its intended construct slowly collapses in upon itself.

I'm not one to complain just for complaint's sake though. A couple suggestions to get us back on track:

1. Stop meddling in foreign affairs when we can't take care of our own affairs at home.

We're gung-ho to enter into conflicts overseas and dump billions into modernized colonial efforts, yet we cut funding to education, social and veterans services at home.

I am not for just handing out free cash to the needy without making them do something for it, and there's a big difference between assistance and welfare. Able bodied people should be able to work for their assistance, and that includes the homeless. Help them to help themselves and restore some modicum of self respect.

2. Political officers should not be paid.

Let's say I ran for and won an unpaid political office - be it in the Senate, Congress, President - whatever. My housing, clothing, bills, food and transportation will be covered for the duration of my term, with a modest entertainment budget. We're talking about a straight down the line middle class equivalent wage. For the term of my stay in this office, my home / living expenses are covered and I need not worry about anything other than doing my job to the best of my ability. Funds from lobbyists, excessive contributions, and bribes would be pretty obvious and my personal finances should be a matter of public discourse.

When you remove greed from the equation, a lot of the problems associated will likely dry up too. People who really want to do a good job will be the ones that run for office.

3. The office of the President should be a three person job.

No matter how badly either side screws up, we keep both the Democrats and Republicans as the only parties that will every win. The independents and third party groups won't get in - and that's the unfortunate fact of the matter. So we elect one Dem, one Rep and one third party. If the three of them can't agree, then it's probably not a good idea to begin with.

It may not be equal representation for all, but it's equal representation for a much larger swath of the populace than we have now, and would reduce this constant in-fighting.

4. Solve a lot of the illegal emigration problem and make outsourcing less shady all in one swoop. Work with Mexico to create more jobs there that give the indigenous population reason to stay home and make their own country better. Let's say, as a generalized example, a computer company builds a plant there rather than India. Labor will still be inexpensive, shipping would be shorter and cheaper, and jobs are created. There's plenty of other situations that would benefit, and maybe we'd help a struggling neighbor country become a stronger asset.

I'll step off my soapbox now. I have a few more social related suggestions too, but the above items I think would smooth out a lot of the troubles that we're saddled with, no matter what "side of the aisle" you're on.

I have no use whatsoever for a "leader" or a "ruler" or some two bit psychopath who feels it's his / her life mission to micromanage my affairs. Stay out of my life and my wallet. They all suck. EABODADIAF (not directed at the OP, but any sh*t bag politician reading this post).

oh....my bad, it's 2012 and "we voted out the hate".
