so i'm moving to one of these two cities. got hookups, friends, etc in both. but as far as the rock music scene go, i'd like to see some insight into that. is one city better for music? is one better for certain types? is it harder to get booked/ find people to play with in one? etc etc

All I can tell you is that Frank Zappa was born in Baltimore... Whereas, Elvis Presley died in Las Vegas, ( before he passed away...)

Why not ask your friends? I wouldn't think Vegas is much of a place for shredders.

John Waters was born in Baltimore.
But, I don't think that makes it a movie mecca either.
Hard to say.
Neither place sounds exactly great for music.
But, I don't know a helluva lot about their music scenes.
I guess move where you like the environment better, flip a coin, or something.
:?
