The Beatles theme benefit I'm playing it is the subject of this boston.com article:

This is not the Beatles tribute band I started working with, 'Scrambled Eggs' is just me and some friends who got together to help this charitable cause last year (and again this year). Last year we were the 'headliners', but this year Grew Hawkes asked to play , so we've got no problem being the 'lead in' for him!

Is Greg Hawkes (The Cars) going to join up with you guys on the stage or is he just bringing his own act?

He's bringing his 'Greg Hawkes Ukelele Trio' act (listen to his beatles songs CD, great stuff!)
We're hoping the show organizer asks us to head up a finale 'sing along', in which case we'd use Greg and his guys for the instruments, with everyone else coming up to sing - we'll see what happens on that. I've met Greg briefly before, a couple of times, nice guy.
