Born from a love of all things rock and roll, Black River Commoner (also known as BRC) have exploded onto the scene with a power and drive unlike no other. BRC?s music can be summed up with one word ROCK. They feed on riffs and their insatiable appetite can not be easily satisfied. The band consists of Dave on Vocals, Chris on Guitars , Dean on bass and Scott on Drums. Each member of BRC strives to bring you some of the dirtiest riffs and heaviest grooves on the planet. With influences ranging from classic rock icons like ZZ top and Mountain to modern day rock saviors like Clutch and Valient Thorr BRC is on a mission to bring the masses together with their rock. ?In a world full of social networks and reality TV, going out and getting together has never been more important. We?ve lost the human contact element in our lives and live music is there to provide an escape and a way to meet new people.?
The band have started to make a name for themselves and continue the journey by playing shows in almost any venue. With the release of their self titled debut album BRC begin to pave their way into the scene as a band that feeds off playing live and loud. They have a great love for the thing they create called ROCK and a deep respect for all the others that have come before them, are there with them, and are to be. So crack a cold one, turn the stereo to 11 and get ready to rock with BRC.
