Musician Forum - Band Discussion Board - BandMix

Before I begin yes I growl/scream .. and to that end please listen or don't, based on your orientation to it. Also the works listed on BandMix are practice songs, even if listed as practice covers (just my way of saying I worked to removing the original vocals to assert my own.) Maybe I didn't rip them out right or what not but it still shows my voice =) .. To date I have only done this with 2 recordings. Six Feet Under - Ghost Of The Undead & Amon Amarth - Runes To My Memory. In the former I feel I ripped it too far out that it affected the instruments a bit. Then the latter I feel I didn't rip it enough so the original voice peaked every now and again. I will get more practice at ripping those out, but still practices. I would like, however considering they are not my own songs but playing off other bands. If those into growls, and screams could listen. And tell me at least what they think of my voice, not so much the songs I worked with. And maybe where they feel I need to work on, improve. What they liked of my voice, its strength. Negative and positive feedback would be appreciated in this regard. As pure negative doesn't fully encompass a critique I feel.
