Hi everyone. I just joined Bandmix and am excited to see how this works. Like most folks here, I'm looking for my next big adventure. Any advice is welcome.

You've got quite a resume. You can also burn the neck off a guitar. What would you consider a big adventure? Looks like you've had a bunch already. Welcome to Bandmix.

Advice: Patience, and don't put all your eggs in one basket. Post ads everywhere.

Andddd...welcome bro!

Thanks fisherman bob.

I guess the next big adventure has already begun for me. I have no idea where I'll be living, whom I'll be playing with, or what type of group it will be... except it will have my influence thrown into the mix. I'm always excited about working with creative people.

I like working with established acts when possible. I realize from experience that this is always challenging, since it means taking the place of someone who has been like a family member... always a tough act to follow.

When a group of people have a realistic vision, business plan, and the resources and talent to make things happen, I'm interested. I believe there is a lot of happiness waiting for those who stay true to themselves, and strive to be impeccable with their word.

Thanks Capt Scott.

sanshouheil... I figure when asking for something, be truthful. Dream big!

When I was a kid, I used to see those big old tour buses sitting outside the arena and think... "man those guys must be happy"! When I finally found myself riding in those buses, I'd look around at my buddies ... and I'd realize I was usually the only one with the big S#!t eating grin on my face. :D
That always amazed me. But it's not surprising with all the baggage we all collect along the way.

WOW! That was an awesome vid! I can't believe you get such a fantastic sound out of an acoustic! I wish I had the opportunities you had but I was practically homeless when I was younger so I ALWAYS had to keep a crappy full time job just to keep a roof over my head and food in the belly.. that's what happens when you're forced out of the roost at 18! I know " If you wanted it that bad, you'd make it happen" I did...but the musicians I was associated with didn't!

Thanks Crip2nite.

I never take anything for granted. I'm not one to criticize anyone for the decisions they have made... especially when it's about a career in music. It's not an easy road, and sometimes it just seems the cards are stacked against ya. I'm sure you've done what you've had to do... and you kept on playing! You sound good to me and I'm sure you've inspired a lot of players along your path. Keep it up!

Now why the f* ck can't SEAN be like this guy?

He obviously plays in a manner that is exponential to most here, as in he's in a separate class of playing He has no attitude. He has no ego I can see so far and even when you blast him without listening to what he's showing on his demo track, he still doesn't take the bait and go DUMBFAQ on you.

It would be a good lesson for some to dig deeper than the surface and learn the lesson that's being taught here.

(I truly hate it when the good players are decent people to boot. It gives you no reason to dislike this guy and all you can do is baste in your own bitch sauce to no avail.)
