Because I appreciate the service BandMix offers and am willing to pay them for their trouble.

I have contact info ( noisykungfu.com ) on my site for other reasons. And I don't really understand this "everything should be free" mentality.

Do you expect to be paid for your labors ?

Dizzizz, I see you live in Ohio. Yeah, you're right. You don't have any money. But, you are surrounded by a boatload of musicians. I am from Warren BTW.

hey, lake county's not too bad off, with the exception of half on painesville. All the musicians seem to have gone to schools with a music program though, i didn't.

This is a good idea, and probably the only way to go if you want to connect on this site. This is and old and worn topic on the site, and there are many who don't mind flushing money down the toilet; some members take it as an offense, even think you're "cheap" if you cant spend $10 for the service, none of these people have managed to show me that it's worth it. One even went to the extent of 'edumakating' me that it is a tax expense write-off, and of coarse, we all know that just because you can write off and expense does not mean your business should spend money unwisely.

No ... actually I was going to rant about how it was not my job nor my place to convince anyone it's worth the money.

All I can do is relate the positive experience it's been for us.

Not only are three of our five players BandMixaleros, I've made back all I've ever spent on BandMix on the first gig we landed by being here.
And a lot more from subsequent gigs related to that first contact.
And continued to do so.

It's up to the individual to decide if the money is well spent, or not spent at all.

Best damn $10.00 a month I ever dug out of the couch cushions.

Now, that's what I'm tawkin' 'bout. You actually gave me some positive feedback. Somethin' I can can wrap my brain around. Everyone else just took it personal, like they did'nt know how to justify spending their money. You must be the smart one here.

BTW...You'd be a whole lot smarta ifin you realized that these web-site providers make money, outside of the $10.00 you're sending every month.
