Man it's gotten so bad that I don't even wanna pick up my guitar.
Only 1 venue for my material 30 miles from here.
No venues = no dedicated full time musicians...at least not that are where I'm at musically.

So I have no place to play and nobody to play with. Bummin Bro's & Sis's!
My stuff seems to be popular with those that hear it and I have gotten a lil attention from the majors so not being able to do more than the web is pretty frustrating.

Every time I think something is going to happen they just talk a lot but never do the work or even a half assed attempt at it.
So I once again cleared my FB and myspace of the posers and try to move ahead...
It's lookin more and more like that means a move... maybe to Ashville NC.

I dunno... still have the Apelshop possibility and two particular people keeping me here, and that's it!

By the way, what happened to your other Asheville thread?

Perhaps if you dabble a bit in other genres?

Phil I just take what comes to me. I cover pretty much ground now: rock/blues/folk/modern rock/pop/jazz pop

Thanks dB. I checked it out... there's a mass of clubs and musicians in Ashville

I just may have to go check it out before I roll outa here permantly.

A lot of people use Asheville as a base, and play Greenville, Spartanburg, Charlotte and Atlanta.


You can still get moonshine in Asheville as well.
