Hey guys!

I am opening up my recording studio in the fall, Right As Rain Studios.

It is a fully acoustically treated home-based production/recording studio.

I am currently booking dates but they are going fast, email me at

etcd32@mail.missouri.edu

OR message me at my myspace

http://Www.Myspace.com/RightAsRainStudios

With any questions.

Thanks everyone!
Evan

For quality, check out what.machines.were. on iTunes, listen to the previews. I recorded/mixed/produced that ONLY using Logic Pro plug ins, I upgraded everything so expect quality a lot better than that. :D

Mr. Tyler,

While I applaud your initiative, I would like to comment on your use of the term “Recording Studio”. This generally refers to a fully equipped, professionally operated facility where commercial recordings are produced by qualified and experienced producers and engineers.

In your case, I think that this is a misnomer. What you have is actually a “Home Studio”. Nothing wrong with that – many people on this site have them. However, there is a lot more to a proper “Recording Studio” than the ability to turn audio into a waveform.

You might attract more business by listing your credits, your equipment (software, mics, pre-amps, monitors, etc.) and being a bit more realistic in your expectations and your advertising.

Good luck in your endeavors.

hey :D

I figure I should clear this up.

Gear list consists of:

2.8 Ghz 17" Mac Book Pro
Apogee Ensemble
KRK RP8's
$2000+ in acoustic treatment
$3000+ in plugins (Steven slate, melodyne, etc.)
M-audio Sputnik
SM7B
RNLA/RNC Mercenary Audio compressor combo
SM57's
Audio Technica 3035
M-audio Pulsar IIs

Pretty much enough to make an album.

Not a REAL studio, but I can get a fantastic quality sound.

Search what.machines.were. on itunes for previews of quality.
