ANYBODY GOT A FLANGER HANGIN' AROUND?

Turns out that a lot of the new crop of tunes require some flange in parts.... I know, my amp has a built in flanger but only has 4 channels and I've got each channel tweaked for a certain sound including one with just the right amount of chorus... When we play out, we meld from one song right into the other and I don't want to have to deal with manually changing one of my channels everytime a song calls for flange and then have to put it back to it's original state up on stage live.... Bad enough I have to switch 4 guitars due to different tuning for our songs( not about to sit there and re-tune my axe right in between songs) I went on line and was just taken aback when I realized they are now in the area of $130.00!

... DAMMIT! I bought a beautiful Boss flanger 4 years ago at less than 80 bucks and returned it as I really didn't see the need for it... All of a sudden, when one is in a cover act, one must duplicate the sound as close as possible and I have all sounds programmed in up till now... Within the last month, I've been thrown 5 tunes which require a flanger somewhere within the song and would hate to change the settings on my Line-6 as it took almost a year to perfect the perfect settings for my taste.... Just throwing this out there b4 I go and shell out 130 bux!~

I still have my analog Boss flanger, very useful effect, you can get a lot out of it, from "jet" flange to semi-chorus and semi-leslie sounds.
But the Boss ME-50's flange effects blows it away.

...I'm using the Line 6 Spider 100 watt tube Valve state... It is perfect due to the wide range of covers we do and have no prob duplicating exactly the way the songs are supposed to sound.... The built in chorus is just beautiful but the flanger sounds very cheesy and, like mentioned before, I'm not about to sacrifice a channel just to get the flange effect.... Here are my settings:
Channel:
#1. clean with a tinge of chorus
#2. enough overdrive to get that nice crunch chord sound for a clean but rockin rythm
#3.. insane overdrive for our metal power chords... no reverb whatsoever
#4. same as 3 but with reverb set at about 1:00 for all my leads
Sounds beautiful in the studio and miced onstage but all of a sudden, I'm being thrown some Vai/Halen/ Zep (Nobody's fault but mine) which definitely requires just the right amount of flange but not too much... I can replicate the sound via the head but that entails me having to program and then re-programming it live onstage which is jus ludicrous as we go from one song right into the other and I don't have the luxury of time to perform these tasks... *sigh* Looks like another trip to GC.... I'll only get the Boss Flange as the others sound like crap. Spent mucho time programming all channels for my live gigs and not about to sacrifice all that work just for one freakin' effect.... It5's just that I'm super tight for $$ right now as my boss has now brought my work week down to 3 days a week... I'm barely keeping my head above water.... Thank God I bought all my axes and amps when I was raking it in with a full time job or I'd really be up the creek!

I have an old Peavey pedal around here somewhere that has a decent flange, chorus & dig-delay on it. I use it, though, with my solo acoustic work, so I won't sell it to ya.

Flangers and Phasers are an acquired taste. I just happen to think they sound like crap. (99% of them)
You like it? hey that's great for you.
You don't like it? See above answer and add nobody cares.
You want to get ugly about it?
Hey I love ranking on people with big mouths and don't realize their very realistic shortcomings. (One can talk sh*t all day long, but people die with truthful shots and you have so many holes in your real life, I could drive a truck through them.)
So keep on, keeping on, but lemme tell ya everything has a price.
Try to behave yourself or you'll get a verbal smack on the nose or your face rubbed in excrement just like the dog who sh*t the bed.
Oh and begging on the forum for equipment is pretty poor.
If I had a sh*t flanger or phaser, I'd let you have it.
But you bitch while people honestly think about giving you something>?
Faq u, you'll get nothing if you're lucky. If you aren't, you might get much more than your scrawny ass bargained for.
GROW THE f**k UP.
NOW!

UMMMM...I'm not or ever asking for something for free if that's what you're insinuating,,, just trying to see if anyone has one that they don't want and are willing to sell it at a bargain price as opposed to what they're going for brand new. Just felt this would've been the perfect pace to make that assumption but now I'm seeing that i'm extracting emotions that I had no idea was gonna come about.. Sorry for the misunderstanding... I'll just acquire it the normal way as not to hurt anyones feelings or come off as a leech.... Forget I EVEN INQUIRED....

If ya want something for free, have the decency to ask like you were human at one time.
And don't you mince words or expect the same in triplicate.
You wanna be cute or funny in some mean way? FINE.
You better grow some because you need to be ten feet tall to ride that ride and people will call you on it.
